Sales Coordinator

Our innovative team is rapidly expanding. UWorld is currently searching for a talented and competitive Sales Coordinator (SC) who will be responsible for generating sales in the USMLE and Board product lines. The SC will work with the Business Development Manager and Account Development Manager to handle the administrative and logistical inflow of incoming sales opportunities for our largest business unit, Medical Products. The ideal candidate will have experience with account management and/or customer service in the education, health sciences, or content fields and will be the primary point of contact for incoming new business. The role requires an organizational whiz who is flexible and works well in a team sales environment.


Minimum Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, science, or relevant field preferred

Minimum Experience Required:

  • 1-2 years experience in sales as a rep, coordinator, or customer service representative required
    • Previous sales experience in the nursing education field or SaaS industry preferred, but not required
    • Proven ability to manage prospects and achieve quotas

  • Outstanding organizational abilities with adaptive and collaborative mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
  • Aptitude for problem solving and the ability to determine solutions for customers using a consultative sales approach
  • Energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor. Persuasive and goal-oriented

Job Duties: (Including but not limited to)

New Account Development

  • Process incoming leads and organize into priority level, territory, and product grouping and ensure customer follow-up is timely and accurate.
    • Work in collaboration with customer care team to process quotes and close sale
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail managing all respective sales activities (notes, follow-ups, emails, call logs)

Account Maintenance

  • Maintain active communication and account management of established key relationships
  • Work in coordination with sales and marketing team to communicate and document market insight, feedback, and customer takeaways
  • Implement an account management plan that optimizes revenue growth and inspires customer loyalty
  • Serve as the primary contact and liaison in servicing institutional partnerships
  • Conduct ongoing customer needs analysis and research of customer requirements

Team Collaboration

  • Develop cohesion between inside sales support and outside sales representatives, sharing market insight gathered during appointment setting
  • Participate in team meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
