Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our team is rapidly expanding.  UWorld is currently searching for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for assisting our recruiting efforts.  The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for performing tasks in order of priority related to all phases of the recruitment process. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who, proactively, can recognize needs and initiate tasks in order to meet them.


  • Assist with sourcing and screening of candidates
  • Prepare and post job openings internally and externally
  • Coordinate phone screens and onsite interviews
  • Participates in creating a great candidate experience in all phases of the recruiting process
  • Communicate with recruiting and hiring managers on all details of the hiring process
  • Convey the vision and values of UWorld  in an authentic and persuasive way
  • May also occasionally assist with social media and sales and marketing efforts


  • Must have at least two years experience working within an office setting in a recruiting coordinator or sales and marketing position
  • Must have advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) and advanced computer and Internet skills, Applicant Tracking System experience, a plus
  • Must have the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, ever changing environment, while maintaining a high level of detail
  • Must have solid organizational, planning, prioritization, and self-motivation skills to successfully meet deadlines while working independently
  • Must have strong verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Must have superior professionalism and the ability to keep information confidential
